Mark your calendars!  One Ripple Effect LLC will be debuting Columbus’ first family-oriented Baby The Planet Expo May 2, 2009 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center.  Geared specifically towards moms and moms-to-be, the event will provide education and resources for those interested in ‘taking the first steps towards a Greener lifestyle or adding to what they are already doing to improve the environment and create a better living condition for generations to come’.

This is a can’t-miss opportunity to: connect with local Green businesses/services; discover how to create a safe, non-toxic living environment for your family, and; help raise awareness about crucial issues facing all of us as individuals and as members of the global community.  The expo will feature a fashion show, kid’s area, special events and exhibits/seminars covering a host of topics including home and garden, lifestyle, toys, pets, arts and education, food, maternity and baby, energy/transportation and more.

Admission is free to the community, simply pre-register here to experience Columbus’ premier eco-friendly event (and bring the family!).

For businesses interested in participating, Baby The Planet offers four tiers of sponsorship, exhibitor and seminar speaker opportunities and event program advertising .  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local nonprofit whose mission aligns with those of Baby The Planet.
